last week in viseu

Hey yal!
So as you could probably tell by the title, I'm getting transferred from Viseu and I'll be heading to Porto where my brother served for 9 months, in the same ward!
I'm thrilled to go walk on the same streets that he did, meet the members who he knew and loved, and hopefully teach some of the same people he did!
Itll be pretty incredible!
This week, we didn't see much new. Viseu's still beautiful as always even though they're taking down all the christmas lights.
I saw a pretty small, but cool miracle this week about the power of prayer. We were in this sketchy area outside the city at night in the cold and both felt very uncomfortable being alone in the dark. We were waiting alone at this bus stop waiting for a bus that would arrive in10 minutes. This car rolled up and just stopped next to the bus stop. We were doing our best to listen to the spirit to guide us as to what we should do. And both of us felt very uncomfortable about this car stopped right there. But we felt prompted to stay put.
For the next 5 minutes we felt continually more uncomfortable about this car and whoever was in it, not sure why. But it was not a good feeling. I said a quick prayer in my head just asking for a bit of comfort. And as I finished my prayer, a member, a young adult named Guilherme comes running up to us and is like yo i didnt think I'd find yal here. I felt instantly better having him there. And 1 minute later our bus pulled up there almost 10 minutes early, which we would have missed if we would have moved.
It's a small this but I know that the Lord protects us and is watching over us always. And most certainly hears our prayers!

I love you all and I hope you have a great week!
Atè jà então
Com muito amor,
Sister Tay Cannon
