Parabéms Rebeca :)

Olá friends and family!

This seek was once again pretty eventful! A little girl in our ward named Rebeca got baptized. Was no joke the sweetest baptism I've ever attended. She is such a beautiful example and she's only 8 years old. She faithfully reads her scriptures every night and prays. For her birthday she didn't ask for a party or for presents. All she wanted was to be baptized on her 8th birthday. Children never cease to amaze me with their perfect faith and desire to follow Christ and do good:)

Friday night we ended up in the hospital quite unexpectedly. Turns out my health decided to make another run for it. Nothing really serious happened just a fever and some pain but it ended with just an IV in my arm for an hour and a half and pain meds that made me pretty loopy. I guess that had to be entertaining for my companion! I can't speak portuguese super well even when I'm not drugged up so I'm sure that was quite the sight to see!

GENERAL CONFERENCE my friends!!!:D I have no words to describe it. Wow! If you haven't seen or listened to it yet, stop reading this email right now and go watch it at churchofjesuschrist.org
One talk I would specifically suggest reading (or re-reading if you already have) is President Nelson's in the final session on Sunday. There are big things happening but we need to remember the little things we can do to in our own lives. I know without a doubt that he is a prophet of God.

Thanks for all the prayers this past week. I can sure feel them🧡
Please know that I'm praying for all of you. I love you and I hope you have a great week!

P.s. I cut my companions hair today, like 6 inches off! Turns out I'm not all that bad of a cosmetologist. Brinley, you're my role model:)
