Portugal winter is starting:)

Olá!
Yep Portugal winter is starting. That means lots of rain and rain and rain. But I'm not gonna complain bc it's definitely not the same as snow. This will be my first ever winter without snow, but gotta experience it sometime! Also, Christmas is only 72 days away, not that I'm counting down or anything:) Christmas is a big deal here in Portugal so we're super pumped for that!
Not much to say about this week. We did lots of finding and visiting members.
We did a mission wide fast though which was super awesome! The whole mission skyped together and prayed to end the fast yesterday afternoon. It was a super cool experience uniting as a mission for the same goal. I know that God is preparing people here in Portugal to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
My comp Sister Fraser turned 20 this week and a member in our ward had the same birthday so we had a little Festa with lots of bolo (cake) and other sobremesas (desserts Portugal style). So that was a blast!
Transfers are next week so this could very well be my last week in Viseu. We'll have to find out but we're all hoping to stick around a little longer because Viseu is the best place on earth! But the Lord has a plan and I'm so good sticking with his:)

S P I R I T U A L THOUGHT:
This week, I was reading the talk from this past general conference by Elder Terence M. Vinson of the Presidency of the Seventy called "True Disciples of the Savior." I love this talk because it talks about giving it your all. This is how we need to be living our lives. Not only giving one day a week to the Lord but focusing our whole week on Him. We can still have fun, work, study, and everything but remember Christ in everything. Because He is a part of everything good! I love this talk please read it if you get a chance.

I love you all--have a great week! Go give someone a hug today!
